We started with American mesquite, transitioned to the northern border of Mexico, and are now working toward expanding our American sourcing again. The Beginning
Founded by AE Santos with a single kiln in Laredo, Texas. We began sourcing mesquite from American ranches in South Texas, establishing the foundation for nearly five decades of quality charcoal production.
Growing Operations
Joe Alvarado joined operations, working closely with AE Santos to expand production capabilities. This partnership strengthened our commitment to quality and helped establish our reputation in the community.
Production Excellence
Juan Esparza took the lead in production, implementing rigorous quality control measures that ensured consistent excellence across all our mesquite charcoal products.
National Reach
We expanded our distribution network across the country while transitioning to Mexican mesquite sourcing and maintaining our core family values and commitment to sustainable harvesting practices.

Our Local Community
In the community, especially here in Laredo and San Antonio, our product has become such a staple amongst locals cooking out. Going to the local grocery store to pick out their day's dinner or a week's list of food — we are so honored to be on those shopping lists, those dinner plans, in any tiny way.
We do give back to our community — first locally, and then to certain hospitals farther away. It's the least we can do to show our gratitude.
